Arcadia’s Anderson earns first-team All-Coulee honors

Arcadia setter Adella Anderson earned first-team All-Coulee Conference honors for her play this past season.
With a year still remaining in her high school volleyball career, Arcadia junior setter Adella Anderson has already established herself as one of the more decorated players in program history. This past season left no question that she is among the Coulee Conference’s elite as well.
Anderson earned a spot among the Coulee’s very best as a part of the all-conference first team for 2024, making her the only player among that group of seven who isn’t a senior. Previously, as a sophomore, Anderson was named to the All-Coulee second team.
Anderson finished this season as the Arcadia team leader in assists (637) and aces (43) while also recording 64 kills, 193 digs and 16 total blocks. She joined the 1,000-assist club this fall and will enter her senior year second all-time in program history in career assists behind only Taylor Haines, who graduated in 2014.
Joining Anderson on this year’s list of first-team honorees were West Salem’s Makena Ihle and Leah Brigson, Luther’s Allie Zittel and Ellie Bahr, Viroqua’s Bryne Swenson and Westby’s Erin Gluch. Ihle was named the 2024 Coulee Conference Player of the Year after earning her second consecutive first-team selection.
Arcadia sophomore middle hitter Tatum Drazkowski landed on the all-conference second team following a season where she notched 187 kills, 63 total blocks (20 solo, 43 assisted), 214 digs and 34 aces.

Arcadia senior Kaitlyn Bremer and junior Justine Sonsalla were each named All-Coulee honorable mentions for a second straight year. Bremer was also an honorable mention as a sophomore in 2022.
The other all-conference honorable mentions this season were Black River Falls senior Isabella Falcon and Olivia Larken, Luther senior Maggie Bettin and Westby seniors Ali Fortun and Livvy Nelson.
West Salem went 12-0 in conference play to claim a second straight conference championship after also going unbeaten in Coulee play in 2023.
