Arcadia finishes sweep of Coulee

The Arcadia girls golf team topped Black River Falls by 39 strokes to win the Coulee Conference Tournament on Thursday at Drugan’s Castle Mound.
Earlier in the week last Tuesday, the Raiders bested BRF by 18 strokes in a nine-hole event at Skyline Golf Course. Arcadia won the conference title, winning every competition throughout the season.
Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association regional competition was held Wednesday back at Skyline, and sectional competition will be held this coming Tuesday at Drugan’s.
CC at BRF
Arcadia finished 18 strokes ahead of host school BRF in a matchup of the two Coulee schools last Monday. G-E-T did not participate in the event.
The Raiders’ team score of 198 was led by event medalist Zoie Pehler’s 45, followed by Hallie Tulip’s 50, Whitney Sonsalla’s 51, Kenzie Wolfe’s 52, Ahnna Bautch’s 54 and Ithzel Cossio’s 60.

Tulip’s medalist-earning score of 82 led the Raiders’ team score of 386 to top BRF’s 425 in the Coulee Conference Tournament on Thursday.
The team effort was rounded out by Sonsalla’s 99, Wolfe’s 101, and Pehler and Bautch each with 104.
Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau had two golfers also participate, as Bailey Maynard tallied a 106 and Hayley Andersen scored a 109.
