Arcadia, G-E-T players earn All-Coulee honors

The Arcadia girls basketball team had three players earn all-conference honors for the 2023-24 season.

Senior Casidi Pehler joined three West Salem players and one from Onalaska Luther on the All-Coulee Conference First Team. Pehler finished fourth in the conference in scoring and second in rebounding, averaging 11.4 points and 8.4 board per game.

Her teammate, freshman Tatum Drazkowski was the conference’s top rebounder, averaging 11.5 per game, which earned her second-team all-CC honors. Drazkowski averaged a double-double as she also scored 10.2 points per contest. 

Another Arcadia freshman, Madison Grotjahn, was honorable mention after averaging 8.1 points per game.

The Raiders went 10-2 in Coulee Conference play behind only West Salem, which was 12-0 and ended its season in the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association State Tournament. West Salem’s Megan Johnson was the CC’s Player of the Year after averaging 23 points per game. 

Joining Johnson and Pehler on the first-team were Josie Brudos and Sam Niemeier of West Salem and Allie Zittel of Luther. 

Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau senior Tatum Johnson joined Drazkowski on the second team after averaging 7.8 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. The Red Hawks were fourth in the conference with a 4-8 record, behind Luther (8-4) and ahead of Viroqua (3-9), Westby (3-9) and Black River Falls (2-10). 

Two more West Salem players, Brynlee Kelly and Sareece Sackett made the second-team as did Luther’s Macie Neumeister. 

Earning honorable mention was Bella Falcon of BRF, Karly Miller of Luther, Emily Hubatch of Viroqua and Sydney Quick of West Salem.
