Arcadia girls split Coulee games

The Arcadia girls basketball team got one win last week, but dropped another in Coulee Conference play.

The Raiders had two of their better offensive performances of the season. It was enough to beat Black River Falls 58-53 last Tuesday, but not enough in a 66-54 loss to Gale-Ettrick-Trempeaelau on Friday (see story elsewhere in Sports).

Arcadia entered the final week of the regular season with an overall record of 6-16 and they’re 5-5 in Coulee Conference play. They played at Onalaska Luther on Tuesday and host West Salem on Thursday.

The (9) Raiders hit the road to open Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association tournament play this coming Tuesday as they’ll play at (8) Adams-Friendship. The winner of that game will play at (1) West Salem next Friday with the regional final to be played on Saturday.
