Arcadia grad earns college hoops honor

Arcadia High School graduate Chloe Halverson has been named Athlete of the Week at Carroll University.

Halverson, a 2021 graduate of AHS, ed the women’s basketball team in rebounding and led the bench in scoring in the historic 104-48 win over North Park on Saturday. 

Halverson’s 11 points and 12 rebounds secured her first career double-double in just 19 minutes of play. Halverson was one of six Pioneers to score in double digits while Carroll went on to tie the record for most points scored in a single game in Pioneer women’s basketball history.

The freshman is currently averaging 5.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 2.0 assists per game for the Pioneers. 

During her career with AHS, she helped the team to the 2020 Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association State Basketball Tournament.
