Arcadia net season ends with forfeit
The Arcadia volleyball season barely got started and the postseason never got off the ground at all.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the season was limited to just five matches in 2020. The Raiders went 2-3 in a regular season that was shortened when the school had to close due to a COVID-19 outbreak. Arcadia returned to action one week before postseason was set to play, but another COVID-19 exposure meant the Raiders had to forfeit the regional match against Neillsville that was scheduled for last Tuesday.
With the forfeit, the Raiders officially finished the season with a 3-3 record. Neillsville went on to be swept by top-seeded West Salem in the semifinal round before West Salem lost the regional championship to Aquinas.
