The Raiders are scheduled to host a pair of meets this week, including a triangular this Tuesday with Black River Falls and Independence as well as an invitational tournament on Saturday.

Cruz Patzner continues to lead the way for Arcadia in the 152-pound weight class, improving his season record to 19-3 with a pin over Viroqua’s Preston Buroker.

The Raiders also got a pin from Hunter Fitzpatrick (145), and Ivan Aguilar (120) earned a tech fall victory, 17-2, over Hunter Thurin of Viroqua. Eric Bustos (285) and Andy Monroy (126) each won by forfeit.

The Raiders won five of the final six matches against De Soto to squeeze out the win.

The Raiders then got a pin from Nestor Badillo over De Soto’s Zack Yaktin and a win by forfeit in the 138-pound contest. Fitzpatrick decided Trenton Baldwin, 7-5, giving Arcadia enough of a cushion for the win.

Sandoval got a 7-5 decision win for the Raiders early on before Bustos collected his second win of the day by pinning De Soto’s Jayvyn Jones.

Losses for Arcadia came from Efren Hernandez, Aguilar, Rodriguez, Patzner and Heidi Hernandez.
