B-T’s Kniseley named to all-state team

Blair-Taylor senior Ethan Kniseley was named to the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association's All-State Team.
Blair-Taylor senior Ethan Kniseley’s season ended with one of the highest honors a player can earn as he was selected to the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Division Five All-State team.
The teams were announced last week and Kniseley was named one of the 12 best players in Division Five after a senior season in which he averaged 19.6 points per game. The four-year varsity starter led the Wildcats to a 19-7 record, second in the Dairyland Conference Small Division behind only eventual Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association State Champion Cochrane-Fountain City. He finished his career with 1,349 points.
The Dairyland Conference may be remembered as among the most talented in the state. In addition to the state champion team coming from the DC, three players were picked for the all-state team and another earned honorable mention.
C-FC’s Cameron Lipinski earned all-state honors after averaging 21.4 points per game and leading his team to the state championship. Teammate Porter Ehrat was honorable mention.
Also being named to the all-state team was Jace Paul of Alma Center Lincoln. The Hornets tied the Wildcats with a 15-5 conference record as Paul averaged 20.6 points per game. He finished his high school career with 1,802 points.
