B-T boys seventh at Cashton meet

The Blair-Taylor boys cross country team opened its season with a seventh-place finish in Cashton on Saturday.

One B-T runner cracked the top five as Thomas Brandt took third, 33 seconds behind winner Cooper Powell of Brookwood. Jacob Olson was the next B-T runner to finish, taking 30th overall.

Wyatt Schrock and Armoni Samples finished consecutively with Schrock taking 87th and Samples, 88th. Jerick Cornejo finished 105th for the Wildcats.

B-T only had one girl compete as Kelsey Lien finished 32nd in 25 minutes, 20 seconds.

The Wildcats are slated to race again at Cochrane-Fountain City on Thursday and Black River Falls next Monday.
