Blair-Taylor’s Thomas Brandt took second out of 19 runners at his team’s home meet at the Taylor Rod and Gun Club last Tuesday.

Brandt finished about 27 seconds behind race champion Russell Hulett of Eleva-Strum while teammate Jacob Olson took fourth. Armoni Samples finished 13th for B-T and Wyatt Schrock was 16th.

The Chippewa Valley Lighting Bolts team was the only one to have enough runners to qualify for team scores in either the boys or girls standings. Runners from CVLB took the top four spots in the girls race, followed by Jadrean Borreson and Kelsey Lien of Blair-Taylor. Alley Jorgenson finished 10th for the Wildcats.

There were 17 runners — 11 from CVLB — from four schools in the girls race and 19 runners from five schools in the boys race.
