Blair-Taylor volleyball loses twice
The Blair-Taylor High School volleyball team dropped a pair of matches last week to end a three-game winning streak.
The Wildcats (4-6 overall, 4-3 Dairyland Conference) fell to Eleva-Strum last Tuesday before losing in five sets to Alma Center Lincoln last Thursday.
Blair-Taylor visited Alma-Pepin on Tuesday and hosts Cochrane-Fountain City on Thursday.

The visiting Wildcats narrowly lost the opening set by a handful of points before losing the second 25-18.
They won the third by beating the Cardinals on the set point, winning 25-23. But Eleva-Strum ended the match with a 25-17 win in the fourth set.
Individual stats were not reported to the Times.

Last Thursday’s game at Blair-Taylor High School was a tight contest.
The Wildcats cruised to win the first set 25-9, but Alma Center Lincoln responded to take the second 25-19.
Blair-Taylor won the third 25-21 and had a chance to end the match in the fourth set, but Alma Center Lincoln won on a set point.
The visitors then won the match with a 16-14 win in set five.
Madison Goodbear led the Wildcats with 23 assists and added five kills. Lindsay Steine had a team-high eight kills.
