Fall Creek cruises by Arcadia in girls hoops

The Arcadia Raiders shot just 28 percent from the floor in nonconference action last Tuesday, and turnovers sealed their fate in an 85-30 loss to Fall Creek in girls basketball.

The Raiders are scheduled to visit Luther (3-7 overall, 2-1 Coulee Conference) this Friday.

A wide 43-16 lead at halftime was followed by a similar offensive second half for the Cloverbelt West Conference’s Crickets on Tuesday.

Arcadia (3-6, 2-1 Coulee) struggled to convert on the other end, scoring on just 11 of their 40 shot attempts. The Raiders also turned the ball over 22 times.

Senior Breah Golden led Arcadia with 11 points, and junior Casidi Pehler added seven while collecting 10 rebounds.

Kimbel Sell and Jasmin Heuer co-led all players with 15 points, and the host Crickets saw four players finish in double digit scoring.
