G-E-T’s Gallup named Coulee Gymnast of the Year

G-E-T senior Taylor Gallup solidified herself as one of the area’s best gymnasts during her high school career. Given her dominance throughout conference competitions this winter, it should come as no surprise that she finished the season as the Coulee’s top gymnast.

As the lead gymnast for the Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau/Melrose-Mindoro/Cochrane-Fountain City co-op, Gallup cleaned house in this year’s All-Coulee selections, earning first-team honors for the beam, floor, vault and all-around while also being all-conference second team on the bars.

Gallup was the 2025 Coulee Gymnast of the Year for her all-around excellence.

Rounding out the GMC stranglehold on the All-Coulee first team was freshman Jayden Thill, who earned top honors on the bars.

Thill also was an honorable mention in the floor exercise, the vault and the all-around. GMC sophomore Reesa Beilke joined Thill as an All-Coulee honorable mention in the all-around.

Though GMC swept the all-conference first team, it was the West Salem/Aquinas/Bangor co-op who claimed the Coulee team championship for a fourth consecutive year.

Representing West Salem/Aquinas/Bangor on the All-Coulee second team were senior Layla Hirschboeck and junior Hayden Rohde on the bars, junior Olivia Maki in the vault and senior Kennedy Garbers in the all-around.

Senior Isabell Korn of the Westby/Viroqua/Cashton/DeSoto co-op rounded out the all-conference second-team honorees on the beam and in the floor exercise.
