G-E-T’s Olson, Wagner secure spots on All-Coulee second team

Following a season where they were the bedrock foundation for the Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau girls’ golf team, senior Claire Wagner and junior Jazlynn Olson found themselves with all-conference honors.

Olson and Wagner each landed on the All-Coulee second team as recognition for their efforts this season. It was an improvement for Olson from her honorable mention nod from a year prior as a sophomore.

Westby/Viroqua junior Maddi Fletcher took home top honors as the Coulee’s Player of the Year for a second consecutive season. Fletcher headlined the all-conference first team and was joined by Cochrane-Fountain City junior Lily Scharmach, Westby/Viroqua senior Amanda Christianson and Cochrane-Fountain City sophomore Jorja Wolfe.

In addition to the G-E-T duo, Black River Falls had junior Kaylee Wood and freshman McKenzie Apicella as second-team selections. This year’s all-conference honorable mentions in the Coulee were Arcadia sophomore Kalyce Sobotta and Black River Falls sophomore Andrea Cogswell.

Black River Falls captured the team conference championship for 2024, marking the Tigers’ first Coulee title in program history.
