G-E-T girls track first, boys second at Logan

Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau track tallied 12 total wins across the boys and girls events at a quad held in La Crosse last Thursday.

The Red Hawk girls finished first among their field of four, while the boys finished second.

G-E-T was scheduled to be in West Salem this Tuesday, with their next scheduled meet taking place this coming Monday at Arcadia.

Logan Quad

Leading the first-place G-E-T girls was Rachel Amoth, who won the high jump and long jump events. Also earning wins for their efforts were Caden Miralles in the 100, Adrianna Rotering in the 800 and Mikayla Wright in shot put. The 800 and 3200 relay teams also won their heats.

For the second-place boys, Will Thompson won the long jump, triple jump and 110 hurdles events. Carter Gold also took first in the 1600, and the 3200 relay team took first as well.
