GMC gymnasts sixth at West Salem

The G-E-T/Melrose-Mindoro/Cochrane-Fountain City high school gymnastics team opened its season last week.
The GMC co-op placed sixth as a team at an invitational in West Salem on Saturday.
Senior Abby Miller led the way for the squad, scoring a 33.5 all-around, good for fifth place.
Miller placed third in the vault competition with an 8.6 and also tied for third in the floor routine with a 9.1. She took fifth in the uneven bars with a 6.7 and sixth in beam with a 7.4.
