I/G wrestlers fall to S/CC

While the Independence/Gilmanton wrestler won the only match that took place, the team lost four of the five forfeits as Spencer/Columbus Catholic won the dual 24-12.

Ethan Severson (160) didn’t’ allow his opponent, Carson Kilty, to get out of the first period, finishing a pin in 1:57 to put the Indees ahead 6-0. But there weren’t any more matches wrestled.

The only other Indee wrestler active for the match was Gabe Pietrek, who received a forfeit at 120 pounds. Otherwise, the Indees had to forfeit the 170, 220, 285 and 126 weight classes, making up all of S/CC’s points. There were double forfeits at the 170, 182, 195, 106, 113, 132, 138, 145 and 152 classes.
