Indee baseball team splits first two games

After a lopsided win, the Independence/Gilmanton baseball team wasn’t able to keep up in a loss.
The Indees technically began their season in Whiteahll last week Tuesday, but rain caused the game to be suspended. Their official first complete game came on Thursday with a 17-0 win over Alma Center Lincoln.
On Friday, however, the Indees weren’t able to keep up with Melrose-Mindoro, falling 13-6.
No further information from either game was reported to the Times.
At 1-1, the Indees were slated to host Alma/Pepin on Tuesday of this week before heading to Augusta on Thursday and welcoming Blair-Taylor on Friday.
