Indee netters sweep CC, beat Augusta

The Independence/Gilmanton volleyball team got on track with two wins last week.

The Indees began the week with just one win on the season, but wasted little time changing that with a sweep of Coulee Christian on Tuesday. The Indees won all three sets by at least 10 points. The team picked up its first Dairyland Conference win on Thursday, taking the first two sets before closing the match in the fourth to win, 3-1.

I/G began this week with a record of 3-6 before another match against Coulee Christian, this time in Gilmanton on Tuesday. They’re also set to host Whitehall on Thursday.

This coming Tuesday, the Indees will play at Melrose-Mindoro with a match at home against Eleva-Strum next Thursday.
