Indees fall to ECI in regional final match

After winning three straight to beat Alma/Pepin in the second round of Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association play, the Independence volleyball team’s season came to an end in the regional final.

The third-seeded Indees scored a 3-1 road win over second-seeded A/P to advance to the regional final, but they were no match for first-seeded Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran.

The postseason play put Independence’s record at 5-4 on the season, but they aren’t finished yet.
