Norse earn two on All-DC net team
Two Whitehall volleyball players broke up a string of Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran players on the All-Dairyland Conference First Team, announced last week.
Allison Koepke and Nylah Lisowski were both first-team honors, making Whitehall the only team outside of ECIL to have more than one player on the first team. The Norse went 11-3 in Dairyland Conference play, finishing behind only the Lancers who went 16-1, advancing to the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association State Semifinal round.
Setter Oliva Youngbauer also earned honors for the Norse, being picked for the second-team.
Independence had two second-team picks as Ziy Conner and Emerson Pronschinske both earned honors. The Indees were fourth in the conference with a 6-4 record, including a win over Whitehall in the last match of the season.
