Norse girls cruise past Spring Valley

The Whitehall girls basketball team picked up its most lopsided win of the season in Spring Valley last Thursday.

The Norse topped the Cardinals 62-42 to improve to 4-3 on the season.

Defense was the key for the Norse as they held the Cardinals to 21 percent shooting from the field and also forced 36 turnovers. No further information or statistics for Whitehall were reported to the Times.

The Norse are scheduled to play five straight at home including games against Cadott, Independence and Eau Claire Regis on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday of this week. They’ll welcome Cochrane-Fountain City this coming Monday and Alma/Pepin on Tuesday.
