Norse pull away from Beavers

After three straight losses in which the team failed to score 60 points, the Whitehall boys basketball team won its second straight with more than 70 points last week.

Thursday’s 71-56 road win over Augusta came about a week after a win in which Whitehall scored 73 points as the team improved to 4-5 on the season.

At the beginning of this week, Whitehall was 3-5 in the Dairyland Conference Large Division, behind Osseo-Fairchild and half of a game ahead of Independence/Gilmanton. The Norse hosted the Indees on Tuesday. On Friday, Whitehall plays at Eleva-Strum and heads to Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran this coming Monday.
