Bangor 7 G-E-T 3
The team hosting last weekend’s tournament handed Post 354 their first loss after Bangor scored seven runs in three innings.
A sacrifice fly by G-E-T was the first team on the board when Calvin Davis reached home on a sacrifice fly from Nicholas Crum. Bangor fired back with three runs in the second inning and added two runs apiece in the third and fourth innings.
Post 354 scored twice in the bottom of the third inning behind a Nathan Holthaus single to cut Bangor’s lead to 5-3, but Post 40 added their insurance runs in their next trip to the plate.
Caiden Brady and Ben Hansen each hit 2-for-3 to lead G-E-T, which outhit Bangor eight to six but was hampered by five errors.
Holthaus started on the mound, striking out four Bangor batters and walking two others while allowing six hits in six innings.
Eli Tucker paced Bangor with a 2-for-4 performance on offense and also got the win as the team’s starting pitcher.

PdC 8 G-E-T 6
Post 354 never gave up after allowing six runs in the first inning on Saturday, but their rally fell just short of requiring extra innings in a tournament-ending loss.
Prairie du Chien hit through their lineup in the top of the first inning and earned five of their game-high nine hits in the process.
Post 354 got its offense going in the fourth inning when Davis scored the team’s first run on an error. A double from Marley and a single from Davis—who led the team with three hits—in the fifth inning brought home three runs and cut the score to 6-4. Both teams scored two runs in the sixth inning, with G-E-T’s runs coming from Myles Marley and Brady.
Marley hit 2-for-4 with a double for G-E-T. Dawson Eastman was Prairie du Chien’s top offensive threat, hitting three singles.
Brady pitched six innings for Post 354 in relief, allowing four hits and two runs to go with three Ks and no walks.
