Raiders win two more conference games
Arcadia earned two more conference victories last week to claim a third-place finish in the Coulee Conference standings.
The Raiders (12-7 overall, 7-5 Coulee) took down Black River Falls and Luther last week. The team’s lone falter came on Friday in a 5-3 loss to Aquinas (no further information from that game was reported to the Times).
Arcadia is set to host Mondovi on Monday before regional playoffs open on Wednesday. The Raiders earned a fifth seed and are set to host 12th-seeded Tomah (5-15, 3-9 Mississippi Valley Conference).

The Raiders turned a 3-2 disadvantage into a convincing victory over the Tigers (5-12, 4-7 Coulee) last Tuesday.
Black River Falls scored twice in the third inning to take the one-run advantage, but Arcadia outscored the hosts 7-1 over the final four innings.
Connor Weltzien and Carson Martin each had three hits on a day the Raiders combined for 14 altogether. Login Scow, Cam Boland and Maverick Drazkowski all finished with a pair of hits.
Prestin Scow got the start for Arcadia and allowed eight hits in three innings. Weltzien entered the game in relief and allowed one hit through four innings of work while striking out five.

Arcadia secured an early lead thanks to a two-run home run from Martin and kept the offense rolling through the first five innings to get a win over the Knights (4-15, 0-12 Coulee) last Thursday.
Martin led the Raiders with two hits and four RBI.
Login and Prestin Scow split pitching duties, allowing six hits and one earned run while sharing two strikeouts and three walks.
