Red Hawk softball splits four games

The G-E-T softball team kept itself busy last week, playing four games in five days.

The Red Hawks won their first of the week in an 8-2 triumph over Westby last Monday. They were on the other end of an offensive explosion on Tuesday, falling 9-2 to La Crosse Logan.

A doubleheader at Holmen on Saturday resulted in a split, as G-E-T won game one 15-9 before conceding a 21-11 loss in game two on a day temperatures reached into the 60s.

Individual stats from the games were not reported to the Times.

The Red Hawks (3-2 overall this season) were scheduled to visit Sparta on Monday and are set to host Viroqua on Thursday.
