Red Hawk volleyball swept by Coulee power West Salem

The team atop the Coulee Conference volleyball standings showed its power last Thursday in a three-set win over Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau.

The Red Hawks visited Arcadia on Monday before hosting Viroqua on Tuesday to end the regular season.

Visiting West Salem kept G-E-T from getting its offense going early, winning the first set 25-14 and the second set 25-15.

The Red Hawks (1-10 overall, 1-9 Coulee Conference) pushed back in the third and final set, but the Panthers (13-7, 9-1 CC) ended the match with a 25-20 win.

Senior Kayli Bratberg and junior Jordan Stanislowski each had three kills for the Red Hawks.

Senior Genna O’Neill (six) and junior Kayla Schultz (five) paced the team in assists while senior Lindsey Lettner led G-E-T with 17 digs. Bratberg also added a pair of aces.
