The Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau boys basketball team is back above .500 for the year and now owns a season-high four-game winning streak after a decisive victory over Westby their last time out.
The Red Hawks (8-7, 4-2 Coulee) pulled away in the second half to turn aside the Norsemen (4-12, 1-6) 82-65 in a conference matchup last Tuesday in Galesville.

An 8-1 run by G-E-T early in the second half extended their advantage to 52-39. From that point forward, Westby never got within single digits again and the Red Hawks’ lead ballooned to as much as 23 in the late stages of the game.
