The Whitehall Post 191 American Legion baseball team split a pair of games last week.

The team fell behind early against Post 324 out of Osseo and never caught up in a 12-1 loss. Osseo scored three runs in the top of the first inning. Whitehall came back with one in the bottom half, but that’s all they could manage last week Tuesday.

Post 191 came back with a win over Post 200 out of Black River Falls on Thursday. Bryce Schorbahn drove in two runs while Riley Herman and Will Youngbauer added RBIs. Brayden Lisowski picked up the win, striking out six in six innings before Herman closed the game.

No further information from either game was sent to the Times.

Whitehall is 2-3 on the season and is set to host a doubleheader against Arcadia on Thursday. After that game, the team doesn’t have another scheduled until July 10 when it plays in West Salem.
