WHS boys fall to Thunder

The Whitehall boys basketball team lost to the Dairyland Conference Large Division’s top team on Dec. 20, falling to 2-5 on the season.
Osseo-Fairchild appears to be running away with the DC-Large title in its first season in the conference. The win put the team at 7-0, four games ahead of second-place Independence/Gilmanton. Whitehall sits near the bottom of the conference at 1-5, ahead of only Eleva-Strum.
No further information from Whitehall’s 57-51 loss to the Thunder was reported to the Times. The Thunder are 8-0 on the season after going 15-11 last year and 7-7 in the Cloverbelt-West.
The Norse will look to get back on track on Friday when the team hosts Melrose-Mindoro. It’ll head to Augusta next Thursday.
