WHS girls sweep Gilmanton, CC

A pair of convincing victories made it six in a row for the Whitehall girls basketball team.

The Norse opened the week with a 41-22 win over Gilmanton last week Tuesday before topping Coulee Christian/Providence 57-26 on Thursday.

The wins put Whitehall at 13-5 overall and they sit at 7-5 in Dairyland Conference play, behind Melrose-Mindoro (7-4), C-FC (10-2) and Blair-Taylor (10-1). Whitehall was scheduled to play at B-T on Monday of this week before taking on Mel-Min on Thursday in the final game of the regular season.

The Norse received the third seed in their Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Division Four bracket and will play at B-T again this coming Tuesday. The winner of that game will likely play at (1) C-FC next week Saturday.
