Wildcat girls shoot past New Lisbon

A 49-point first half helped Blair-Taylor work past New Lisbon in non conference girls basketball action last Monday.

The Wildcats (13-1 overall, 5-0 Dairyland Conference) were confident letting shots fly in the 83-49 win on Monday, as New Lisbon allowed 70 shots to the hosts.

Blair-Taylor shot 39 percent from the floor but still managed to reach the 80-point threshold for the fifth time this season.

Junior Lindsay Steien scored a game-high 36 points for the Wildcats and grabbed six rebounds, and three other Blair-Taylor players finished in double digit scoring.

Junior Abby Thompson recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 assists, and classmates Samantha Kidd and Kierstyn Kindschy scored 10 and 12, respectively.

Blair-Taylor was scheduled to play Alma/Pepin on Tuesday and host Eleva-Strum on Friday.
