Wildcat netters fall to ECIL, ACL

The Blair-Taylor volleyball team lost their home finale and penultimate scheduled road game of the season to round out action last week.

B-T held senior night last Tuesday, honoring seniors Grace Brown, Ceziah Chandler, Katrina Lien, Hannah Mason, Austyn Capouch, Emma Johnson, Abbigail Leer and McKenna Boe before a three-set loss to Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran. Then on Thursday, they managed one of four sets against Lincoln on the road.

The Lancers interrupted postseason play for the match on Tuesday, as they went on to win the sectional semifinal on Thursday and sectional final on Saturday to advance to the state tournament.  

The Wildcats fall to 3-8 on the season with the losses. Their regular season finale was at Gilmanton on Monday.

In their home finale and senior night, the Wildcats fell in three sets to ECIL.

B-T fell behind 4-0 in the first set and found themselves chasing the Lancers the rest of the way. No additional stats leaders were provided.

B-T kept things competitive early, but ultimately could not overcome Lincoln in their Thursday matchup.

Lindsay Steien led the Wildcats in kills with eight, while Madison Goodbear added 21 assists.
