Wildcats lose two in DC play
The Blair-Taylor High School volleyball team lost a pair of matches last week to drop to 4-8 on the season.
Blair-Taylor dropped a tight five-set match at Alma/Pepin last Tuesday before dropping a home match with Cochrane-Fountain City on Thursday. The Wildcats (4-8, 4-5 Dairyland Conference) visited Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran this Tuesday to close the regular season.
The week started with a back and forth affair at Alma/Pepin, one that saw Blair-Taylor lose in the fifth and final set. Stats and scores were not reported to the times.

Last Thursday’s loss to Cochrane-Fountain City was closer than the final score indicated, as the Wildcats rebounded from a poor first set.
After losing 25-13 in the first set, Blair-Taylor pushed the second to a set point before dropping the set 25-23. Cochrane-Fountain City closed the match with another tight win in set three, taking it 25-22.
Madison Goodbear recorded four aces for the Wildcats.
