A four-run sixth inning for the visiting Black River Falls high school baseball team was enough of a cushion to spoil Blair-Taylor’s home opener last Friday.

The Wildcats fell 10-3 to the Tigers despite a perfect four-for-four performance from Jackson Shramek at the plate.

Eli Swenson added a pair of hits and an RBI for Blair-Taylor, which hosted Osseo-Fairchild on Monday and is scheduled to play Eleva-Strum on Thursday and Independence/Gilmanton on Friday.
