Wildcats win two in DC play
The Blair-Taylor volleyball team picked up two Dairyland Conference wins to stay one match back from first place.
B-T hit the road and came back with a 3-1 win over Eleva-Strum last week Tuesday before topping Alma Center Lincoln, 3-1 in Blair on Thursday. Set scores from the two matches were not reported to the Times.
The wins put B-T at 3-1 in Dairyland Conference play, tied with Whitehall — which defeated B-T earlier this year — behind undefeated teams Cochrane-Fountain City and Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran. The Wildcats will have a busy week this week as they hosted Melrose-Mindoro on Monday before heading to Alma/Pepin on Tuesday. They’ll take on one of the DC’s top teams, C-FC, at home on Thursday.
The Wildcats controlled their match against E-S from the service line and at the net.
