Tornado near Strum confirmed last week

Last week Monday night's storm took down this barn at the juncture of Highway 93 and Double V. Debris was spread across the county highway and scattered through a cornfield all the way to a ravine. A house and outbuilding about four miles south of Strum on Highway D were also severely damaged in the storm, according to Sheriff Brett Semingson. As of early Tuesday, there was no confirmation of whether Monday's storm included a tornado.            (Times photograph by Debbie Foss)
