The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado touched down along Burlington Road in the town of Arcadia last week. The twister was strong enough to destroy a barn and a garage on a property, launching the roofs of both structures a considerable distance. Pictured above is the door to the garage – which was previously located on the front side of the house — in back of the house where a board was lodged through the wall. Pictured below is rubble from where the barn once stood along with a tree that was broken in half and a semi box trailer tipped onto its roof.       (Times photographs by Andrew Dannehy)
