Firefighters from nearly 15 area fire departments worked to control a fire at a turkey barn on a farm northeast of Galesville on Wednesday morning. The cause of the fire on Silver Creek Road had not been determined as of shortly after crews left, and it was unclear whether any animals died in the blaze. Nobody was injured.
